What is Quartet in Autumn about?

Set in 1970s London, Quartet in Autumn follows four office co-workers as they edge towards retirement, each quietly confronting loneliness and change. Marcia retreats into isolation, Letty longs for a fresh start, Edwin seeks comfort in faith, and Norman grumbles at the modern world. Bound by routine, they form a fragile connection that helps them face the passing seasons.
